One of KwaZulu-Natal’s growing funeral service providers has made a significant move that could strengthen its position in the funeral insurance market.
Ndabe Dignified Funerals has officially announced Rand Mutual Assurance (RMA) as its new preferred underwriting partner, with the change set to take effect on 11 September 2026.
The company says the new partnership is aimed at improving service delivery, expanding future offerings and ensuring that families continue to receive the dignified and reliable support they have come to expect from the Durban-based funeral group.
The company CEO Sisa Ngcobo said their clients remain at the centre of every decision they make.
“We are always looking for ways to better the service and value we provide while remaining responsive to our clients changing needs,the partnership with RMA would create opportunities for further enhancements to the company’s offerings while ensuring that families continue to receive dignified and reliable funeral services,”said Ngcobo.
Importantly, Ndabe Dignified Funerals assured existing policyholders that the transition to RMA will not affect their current funeral policies, premiums or benefits.
“Our clients will continue to enjoy the same cover and level of professional and compassionate service they currently receive.We are also exploring additional offerings aimed at enhancing value for clients, with further details expected to be communicated once those developments have been finalised,” added Ngcobo.
